Problem: When a user has Real Time Plot open and the System Manger makes any change to System Configuration, followed by a “Save and Reconfigure” command, Real Time Plot locks up on the user's PC and can only be terminated through the Windows Task Manager. This problem is made worse in a Citrix environment because the Citrix session must be administered.

dotLINK v1.2.0 (LinkOS v 4.3) firmware upgrade for dotLINK interfaces
Problem: This firmware upgrade for dotLINK interfaces improves lost connection recovery mechanisms including (a) “Port comm” errors on configured instruments seen if the Acquiring PC was rebooted or shutdown overnight, (b) “No Interface found” message returned when “Query Port for Type” was executed requiring a reboot of the dotLINK or when manually restarting the application to restore the network connectivity, and (c) dotLINK stopped responding when the Ethernet cable was unplugged for a short period of time and then reconnected.

Supplemental Maintenance Release (SMR) CHDPTCH6200221 for TotalChrom Version 6.2.0.0.1
Problem: In TotalChrom v6.2.0: The TC Publisher reporting module will terminate abnormally if the Report Developer is not an Administrator. Frequently saving a report method in a single session has been found to 'lock' the user interface, requiring the software to be restarted.
These problems are referenced in Software Investigation Request (SIRs) #276PDA12081329, #P19MRW13202054 and their respective Program Change Request (PCRs) #1281APB, #1323APB.
In addition, this patch addresses the following problems that were found and corrected as part of ongoing development:
Name of v1 method is taken from inside file, not from file name
- Report Component groups should display a sorted list
- There is no way to determine the actual picture file of a PictureBlock
- Insertion of report component at mouse pointer fails in the body
- ItemsTable should auto-advance when multiple tokens are inserted
- ItemsTable object update sometimes fails in property sheet
- Table Captions and Titles are always left justified within envelope
- PictureBlock.DrawBegin called after picture file is set
- Should allow data load from ReportBegin event
- New PictureBlock.PictureFileSet event
- TCPub can't load data with components whose names are numeric
- On ItemsTable screen, can't set height of multiple rows at once
- Add function to see if collection has an item with a specified key

To install CHDPTCH6200221:
1. Ensure that all computers are idle by stopping all active data acquisition or allowing all data acquisition runs and analyses to complete on the entire TotalChrom system.
2. Close all instances of TotalChrom.
3. Stop the PEN LCD Service by doing one of the following:
Windows NT: Use the Windows Services application in the Control Panel.
Windows 2000: Use the Windows Services application from the Administrative Tools folder in
the Control Panel.
Windows 98: Right-click the WinLCD tray icon in the task bar, and choose Close.
4. If you have not already done so, download the executable file TcPubUpd-5154.exe to a working directory.
6. Run the executable file on each TotalChrom system that has TCPublisher installed.
7. Restart the PEN LCD Service.
8. Restart TotalChrom.

When reassignment of a component in Graphic Method Editor causes deletion of another component that is a member of a named group, the member list of the group becomes invalid. For example, if a peak currently identified as "A" is assigned to component "B" and "A" is a member of a named group "MyGroup", then the member list of MyGroup becomes invalid. The invalid group may contain a component name twice or it may now include the name of a component that previously was not part of the group. The area and amounts for the group will be invalid in any reports produced with that method.
